In the early days of the Covid pandemic, CRA introduced Mystery Photo Challenges, posted on the Chatline, to provide entertainment and camaraderie for Members during this difficult period.
As well as filling in gaps in the catalogue records, responses to the Challenges yielded a wealth of information and fascinating insights going far beyond the original ‘mysteries’.
The Chatline is also the discussion platform for other batches of photos with some ‘mystery’ about them that the CRA Photo Team posts in galleries on our Zenfolio site from time to time, for Members to study and comment on.
So the Challenges continue on a fortnightly basis, and periodically sets of 10 Challenges are written up in some depth and published as illustrated pdf document ‘Summaries’ to capture and share more widely the totality of information gathered for each photo.
