Copyright and Conditions of Supply

1. All documents and photographic prints are supplied in good faith that either the copyright is owned by the Cumbrian Railways Association or that it has not proved possible to identify or attribute copyright.
2. Prints are supplied on condition that they may be used only for private study and research.
3. All requests for permission to publish copyright document or photographic images in any media, including books, magazines, exhibitions, film, television, websites, etc. should be made to the Association’s Honorary Document of Photo Archivist at the address below.
4. When reproduced in any of the above media credit must be made to the Association in one of the following formats:
   1. where the name of the photographer is known, “Xxxxxx, Cumbrian Railways Association collection” where Xxxxxx is the name of the photographer;
   2. where the name of the photographer is not known or is uncertain, “Cumbrian Railways Association Xxxxxxxx collection” where Xxxxxxxx is the name of the person from whom the collection was acquired;
   3. for documents, or where the source of the photograph is not known or is uncertain, “Cumbrian Railways Association collection”.
