The Journal of the Cumbrian Railways Association
“Cumbrian Railways”, the journal of the Association, is published four times a year, usually in February, May, August and October, the irregularity of timings being to accommodate the circulation of information to members about the autumn and spring meetings.
It usually consists of 40 pages of articles, letters, notes, photographs and drawings about wide ranging aspects of the railways of Cumbria, mainly historic, but also including reports of recent developments and an occasional look ahead into the future.
Each circulation of “Cumbrian Railways” is accompanied by the “Lakes Express” which is a newsletter for members including information about Association events and other notices.
The Editor is open to consider the contribution of articles, features and photographs relating to the railways of Cumbria. Go to Contact Us and choose Journal Contribution as the the subject.
