This publication from the Cumbrian Railways Association, was produced in association with the conference held over the weekend of October 11th-13th 2013 to explore the history of the railways of this important rail centre.

Whilst primarily produced as a guide to the events of the weekend, it contains some very useful notes on the history of the numerous lines serving the Border City. It also contains a comprehensive chronology of their development and a very handy source list for students of railway history to delve even further.
