The Society has two full-day meetings each year at venues within Cumbria. The Spring Meeting incorporates the Association's Annual General Meeting and moves from site to site. It is usually held on the third Saturday in March. The Autumn Meeting is usually held on the second Saturday in November.
The Spring Meeting & AGM of the Association will be held on Saturday 17th March 2018, at the Carus Green Golf Club, Burneside Road, Kendal, LA9 6EB
The cost for the whole day is £24, including tea/coffee and lunch. For those who want the tea/coffee option only, £10 is payable. Please indicate choice of main and dessert courses when booking.
The closing date for booking is Friday 9th.March 2018.

David Slaven, the author of "Mapping the Railways", "Battle for the Borders Railway", and "Insider's Rail Guides" will have a selection of his books available for (cash) sales.
By road: Take A5284 at northern exit from Kendal by-pass in direction of Kendal. Turn left at traffic lights into Burneside Road, and Carus Green Golf Club is on the right-hand side in approx. 1 mile.
By rail: As ever, check timetables nearer the date, but at the time of writing there are suitable trains arriving at 10.12, and leaving at 17.18. The venue is a 10 to 15-minute walk in the Kendal direction.
Please indicate when booking, if a lift to the venue from Burneside station is required.
